Millions and millions of dollars are spent each and every year by humans who are trying to escape reality...from illegal drugs and alcohol, to movies and video games...we want to check out...or tune out.
I like to believe in the idea that as human beings we create our own reality. Think about that for a second, how cool is it to know that by making choices we create our own universe, and all that is in it. Instead of thinking that you are a victim of circumstance and that others are in control of your situation, flip your brain over and see that you have total control of all things. I know I know, there are things that go on around us that we do not control....but that is just it...they are things AROUND us...we even get to decide how much involvement we have in those things.

My litte man has decided that he wants to redecorate his bedroom (his reality) to look like he lives in outer space...black walls and ceiling with glow in the dark stars...so we are looking into making that happen. I become horribly saddened by anyone who creates, through their choices, stress and problems...and then does not understand that they are responsible for things, and that they CHOOSE to allow the situation to control them in a negative way.. learn form what happened make piece with it and move on...leave the luggage at the airport...baggage handlers make a killing by the way.
when all else fails...simple stand still and be silent...the storms always pass...and things always look better after a good nights sleep or a bowl of ice cream.

Since I was a small child I have ferociously cultivated an overactive fantasy life. In fact I pop in and out of my fantasy life throughout the day. Usually if I am bord, or stressed, or whatever. Once upon a time I sought counseling to help me understand my need to do this. At my age I have learned to not concern myself with others opinions of me and generally will speak my mind if given the chance. I confess that sometimes my courage and strength come from my simply being.... someone other than me when needed.
I am always a women..never thought about being a man...that would feel strange. Some what understanding the actual and factual nature of most men, I just figure there has to be some sort of rulebook or manual to help one know how to properly proceed should there ever be a question as to which side to position "IT" in. Football playbooks come to mind...very intricate and logical taking many things into consideration and leaving nothing to chance.
